While flying back to Edmonton, the pilot said it was -28 and the “coldest place in Canada”. And of course I didn’t have any decent winter clothes with me but quickly found them before heading to Saskatchewan to see my father.
A week later I left for Victoria, and my new home.
My good friend Sue has offered me a soft landing at her house while I decide where I want to live. I’ve had a busy few days applying for BC healthcare, getting a new driver’s license, changing contact information. I will be very happy to have everything on the same address.
Of course my mind is on plans to travel again! Soon. Stay tuned…
